Xander is a hot shop glass blower who works mainly solo to create his classic italian influenced work. 

The Merletto technique in Italian glassmaking, particularly associated with Murano glass, involves embedding delicate lace-like patterns within the glass. This is typically achieved by arranging fine threads of white or colored glass in intricate geometric designs, often using a clear glass matrix to encase and preserve the pattern. The result is a refined, lace-like effect that showcases exceptional craftsmanship and visual elegance.
